Day 1: Johannesburg - Mpumalanga@ Moholoholo Ya-Mati


We leave the hustle and bustle of the City Of Gold as it is known and head West to the Lowveld region. Our drive takes us through some of the most fantastic scenic regions from the Highveld as we head down into the heart of the Sub Tropical region of the country. The region is also well known for its abundance of Private Game Farms and of course the famous Kruger National Park. Tonight we arrive at our comfortable accommodation venue lulled to sleep with the sounds of the wild. . B.D. (Please note that we can either pick you up from the airport or alternatively we can arrange accommodation and Day Excursions in the area of Johannesburg until the tour departs.


Day 2: Mpumalanga -Blyde River Canyon & Panoramic Route


Today is a full day of exploration of the escarpment from Gods Window, Bourkes Luck Potholes, Blyde River Canyon and the 3 Rondawels. This natural wonder of the entire area is one of the most popular regions to delve into the geographical history of South Africa. With stunning views stretching toward the Lebombo Mountain Range in the East and numerous interesting Rock formations en-route. We also stop off at the town of Graskop to lunch at one of the super restaurants...and if we really lucky maybe we can squeeze a booking in at the famous Harries Pancakes.B D


Day 3: Ya Mati -Kruger National Park


Morning at Moholoholo Rehabilitation Centre or The Hoedspruit Cheetah and Endangered Speies Centre, the organisations ( both NGO) that we make use of do exceptional work within the the man made confines of animal management. We can guarantee that you will walk away from this excursion with a greater understanding of the plight facing the majority of animals in the wild as well as what we as individuals can do to ensure the survival of the more threatened species. After our morning we head toward the Kruger National Park. we enter at Orpen Gate and make our way down slowly to Berg en Dal where we will stay for the next 2 nights. B.D


Day 4: Kruger National Park


We leave behind our flagship of Game Parks and head South toward the last true Monarchy in Africa. Crossing over into Swaziland at The Jeppes Reef border we will start on our discussions regarding how this tiny country survived the Apartheid Legacy and why it is presently struggling to keep head above water. We overnight in the oldest Game Reserve in Swaziland called Mlilwane. This park is perfect for the strollers in you with no predators ( well beside the crocodile) you can walk around and get a fresher sense of being in the wild. B.D


Day 6: Swaziland - Durban


Hold on to your knickers folks, South Africas playground is getting ready to show you what living by the ocean really means. This the largest population of Indians outside of India buzzes with energy and really, REALLY good curry houses! From Jazz clubs to one of the most modern Aquariums are all found in close proximity to our hotel... B


Day 7: Durban


Free Day – Golf, surfing, gambling, shopping, sun bathing, swimming, hiking, jet boating etc...etc... Your guide could help you make a decision with regards to the numerous activities on offer. B


Day 8: Durban - Port Elizabeth ( internal flight )


After a leisurely breakfast we make our way to the Airport and prepare for our flight to Port Elizabeth, from our vantage point as we enter Port Elizabeth it will give a visual perspective of why this town has historically and still at present remains a industrial centre...But this however does not take away from the beauty of the town, we will have a quick city orientation tour and then head to our accommodation venue for the night. B


Day 9: Port Elizabeth - Knysna


Wow, today takes us to the heart of the Garden Route and through the most amazingly scenic and diverse landscapes and floral kingdoms. Our 260km drive will bring us to the famous Stormsriver Bridge, Blaawkrantz Bridge, The Big Tree, and lunch at the unspoilt beaches and cliff faces of the Tsi Tsi Kamma National Park. Onward we descend into the original timber town of Knysna, famous for its Oysters and tranquil estuary. B


Day 10: Knysna


Our morning starts off with a Featherbed Nature Reserve Tour, we climb aboard the ferry for a very gentle transfer and this takes you to the tiny Island and incudes, information about the Knysna Estuary, history of the town, Blue Duikers ( smallest antelope), tractor ride to a vantage point ovelooking the Knysna Heads and a stroll along the sea shore. The entire excursion is approximately 3 hours long. After this the afternoon is free for you to relax and do as you wish. We meet up again this evening for dinner. B


Day 11: Knysna - Oudtshoorn


Today we traverse the mighty Outeniqua Mountain range en route to the heartbeat of the ' Klein Karoo '...Oudtshoorn. Home to the spectacular Cango –Caves and numerous Ostrich Farms. We will have the opportunity of visiting the above excursions as well as dining on some scrumptious ostrich steak. B.L


Day 12: Oudtshoorn – Hermanus ( out of season we divert to montagu and its thermal springs )


The N2 highway that snakes through rolling Wheat Fields and wine farms will be our path today, from the dry lands through Mossel Bay and down into the Whale Watching ( June - November ) Capital of the world: Hermanus. This quaint coastal village has a rich history and more importantly the only town in the world with its very own Whale Crier...one has to see it to believe it. Fantastic sea food great views and crisp clean air. B


Day 13: Hermanus / Montagu


A day to relax in this town with time to decide how to experience it. B


Day 14: Hermanus - Cape Town


It is thanks to our rich Dutch and French Hugenot history that South Africa wines are still considered to be of the finest in the world. We will today have the opportunity of tasting at two wine farms of distinction and a guided cellar tour at one. Great cuisine and great wines before we head to the Mother City - Cape Town. B


Day 15: Cape Town ( optional full day cape point)


A full day Cape Point Tour and we will try and get up the mountain today as well, as she is so tempremental we try and scale her before she covers herself in cloud B


Day 16: Cape Town - tour ends ( airport transfers can be arranged )


Why not take in Table Mountain and City Tour. For those interested in other activities your guide will be able to recommend something more suited to your tastes, why not do some last minute shopping catch a ferry to Robben Island or visit Kirstenbosch Gardens.
