The journey from Cape Town to Victoria Falls – considered the essence of Southern Africa traveling - it rates as one of the most spectacular and diverse in the whole of the continent. Starting on the windswept shores of Cape Town known internationally as one of the most picturesque cities in the world, guarded by the famous Table Mountain and a vibrant cosmopolitan vibe Cape Town needs no introduction as a stunning city. However the delights you will sample onward include the border between South Africa and Namibia – the Orange River, the Fish River Canyon, the third largest canyon in the world; the dramatic Namib-Naukluft Desert; the towering sand dunes at Sossusvlei. Of course the awesome Etosha National Park is an arid landscape interspersed with game-rich waterholes, where we have an excellent chance of seeing elephant, rhino and lion. The landmark of Botswana - the Okavango Delta could not offer a more dramatic contrast of tranquility and understated natural urgency, we experience some game-viewing in dug-out canoes before a river cruise and game drive in Chobe National Park. Nearing the end of our journey we enter Victoria Falls on the Zambian side, one of the most awe-inspiring sights in the world and one of the 7 Wonders of the World.
